Yesterday was the last treatment of this plan. My blood count remained steady so Randy upped the dose. I have a scan scheduled for tomorrow so we will finally be able to have a good assessment of the damage inflicted on the enemy and see how well the arsenal worked. So we won’t pop open the champagne yet. Or come to think of it, why not, why wait, go ahead and celebrate life and open that champagne if you want to. I will as soon as I pass the mandatory 72 hours.
The suite was fairly quiet so I took my seat by the wall, plugged in my earphone and reclined my seat imagining I am flying first class to a tropical island. Unfortunately it is a short dream because a little while later instead of checking the label on a bottle of wine I am asked to check the label on my med-bags. It is ok though I think I am flying Virgin Airlines and the foot-massage is still on the service list (Thanks honey).
The St. Patrick’s monkeys are replaced by Easter decorations and the purple monkey reappeared but someone else had it. My pet was a little white lamb. Much quieter then a monkey and I take this sign as a confirmation of what I view as a reflection of my peaceful inner self. My physical being is not shabby either. I still feel extraordinarily well aside from a mild fatigue and some intermittent headaches that kick in towards the end of the week and are taken care of with a couple of Tylenols. We even played golf on Sunday stopping 3 holes short of 18 only because it was getting late and the mosquitoes seemed hungrier then we were. And so I continue to hold on to that feeling of wellness and pray the upcoming scan will confirm. So keep those positive vibes and prayers coming because I do feel them, and your support is much more valuable then you can ever imagine.
Always grateful for all your love and will keep you posted
Much love
